We expect you to use the Join Dementia Research system in a safe and secure manner.  Our Terms and Conditions give you clear advice and guidance about your responsibilities for keeping data safe when using the system.  This is for all users, including registered volunteers, representatives, researchers, NHS staff, members of a third party (such as our partner charities) or any other user. In using Join Dementia Research, you are confirming that you will abide by these Terms and Conditions.

Freedom of Information and Subject Access Requests

Join Dementia Research aims to work in a transparent manner, making information about its work and progress publicly available, and putting volunteers in control of their own personal data as much as possible. We abide by the requirements of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, the Environmental Information Regulations and the Freedom of Information Act. In accordance with the Data Protection Act (2018), any individual whose data is being processed by Join Dementia Research can ask to see this information.

Password Policy

Your password must be at least 8 characters long and should contain at least one uppercase letter (A-Z), at least one lowercase letter (a-z), and one numeric character (0-9).
